How it works

Our treasure hunts are lots of fun and a perfect activity to suit everyone. Basically your group are divided into teams and given a set of clues to decipher which lead you to different locations in The Rocks, including 2 pubs. Teams go to the same locations, but in a different order. When you get there, there are some questions to answer, things to bring back, some photos to take, some creative challenges, and you may have to interview some guys along the way! Part scavenger hunt, trivia quiz, treasure hunt - there's something for everyone with time to have a drink or two as you go. It's not a race either, the team with the most points wins and skullduggery is encouraged! The last half hour is the awards that take place in a mystery pub, if you can find it!

How much is the treasure hunt?
Group of 10+ $35pp
Groups of less than 10 is a flat rate of $350.
Groups of 20+ receive champagne at the end and the hen goes free!

What time do they start?
We run every half hour from 10am to 4.30pm. 4.30 is our last start time.

How many people in a team?
Approximately 6 is a good number, give or take a few.

How long is the hunt?
2.5hrs – this includes the briefing and 30 minute awards at the end.

Where do we meet?
Outside the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) 140 George St The Rocks. This is the first big sandstone building you come to in The Rocks after the railway overpass. The meeting point is outside the main entrance on the waterside of the building

How much walking is involved?
The hunt takes place in a small area of The Rocks. The longest time between any 2 points is approx. 8 minutes.

Do you need to be fit?
No – it’s not a race and is paced so that you can enjoy a drink or 2 along the way!

Can we wear high heels?
In a word, NO!! We suggest wearing comfy shoes or wear thongs and carry your heels.

Can under 18’s participate?
Yes – as long as they remain with an adult and don’t approach the bar area whilst in the pubs.

Where do the awards take place?
In one of the nicer Rocks pubs – but we can’t tell you which one, you have to find it! We book a table for you and you are more than welcome to stay on afterwards for drinks and dinner (they do the best pizzas!).

What are the prizes?
Each girl in the winning team will receive a combination of some lovely, girly gifts, small enough to fit in a handbag. Eg: chocs, nailpolish, lipgloss etc. The hen always gets a prize too!

What happens if it rains?
We provide wet weather ponchos and will go ahead in all weather. Participants aren’t outside for extended periods of time and should there be a sudden downpour, there’s always a pub to duck into!

What is the cancellation policy?
Should you cancel within 5 days of your booking, $50 will be charged to the credit card given as a security.

Is it sleazy or tacky?
No – there are no embarrassing tasks for anyone. Our hunts are just cheeky, clever fun!

Where can we go afterwards?
We often get asked this question, so here are some ideas! One tip, don't try and do too many things all in one day - not only can it be exhausting, it can also get quite expensive. A treasure hunt followed by dinner, drinks and dancing can be more than enough fun!
