Hens Treasure Hunt

How it works

Our hens hunts are lots of fun and a perfect activity to suit everyone. Teams decipher clues which lead them to different locations where there are questions to answer, things to bring back, some incriminating photos to take, creative challenges, and you may have to interview some guys along the way! Part scavenger hunt, trivia quiz, treasure hunt - there's something for everyone with time to have a drink or two as you go. It's not a race either, the team with the most points wins and skullduggery is encouraged! The last half hour is the awards that take place in a funky bar or character filled pub.

How much is it?
Group of 10+ $35pp
Groups of less than 10 is a flat rate of $350.
Groups of 20+ the hen goes free!

What is included?

We suggest dividing your group into teams of approximately 6, give or take a few.

How long is the hunt?
2.5hrs – this includes the briefing and 30 minute awards at the end.

How do I book?
Fill in the booking form we will send to you on request. No deposit is required, just credit card details as a security. We do not need your numbers to book you in.

When do you need final numbers and payment?
We need your approximate numbers the Monday before your event so we can start to set up.
Final numbers and payment are due the day before your event. This can be via bank deposit or credit card (*2.5% fee for credit card payments).

Where do we meet?
See locations page for map meeting points.

How much walking is involved?
The longest time between any 2 points is approx. 8 minutes. It’s not a race and is paced so that you can enjoy a drink or 2 along the way!

Can we wear high heels?
In a word, NO!! We suggest wearing comfy shoes or wear thongs and carry your heels.

Can under 18’s participate?
Not in Kings Cross, but yes in The Rocks, Fortitude Valley Gold Coast and Bowral – as long as they remain with an adult and don’t approach the bar area whilst in the pubs.

Where do the awards take place?
In The Rocks we use a mystery pub so can’t tell you which one, you have to find it! You are welcome to stay on afterwards for drinks and dinner (they do the best pizzas!) please let us know when booking if you would like a dinner reservation. In Kings Cross we currently use The World Bar and in Fortititude Valley we use Bank Vault Lounge. Please contact us for Bowral and Gold Coast final locations. There are many restaurants nearby in all locations if you wish to book somewhere for dinner afterwards. Please feel free to ask us for suggestions.

What are the prizes?
Members of the winning team will receive a combination of some lovely, girly gifts, small enough to fit in a handbag. Eg: chocs, nailpolish, lipgloss etc. The hen always gets a prize too!

What happens if it rains?
If you're up for it, we will go ahead in all weather! Participants aren’t outside for extended periods of time and should there be a sudden downpour, there’s always a pub to duck into! Please advise everyone to do a weather check on the morning of your event and bring wet weather gear if needed.

What is the cancellation policy?
Should you cancel within 5 days of your booking, $50 will be charged to the credit card given as a security. Should you cancel the day of your event, we cannot give refunds, but are happy to postpone and provide the event again at a later stage. We have had a couple of hens do the hunt after their wedding due to someone not being able to make it at the last minute. This was still heaps of fun!

Are the tasks embarrassing or tacky?
Not unless you decide to come dressed with a male appendage attached to your head! No, there are no embarrassing tasks for anyone. Just good, cheeky fun!

Can we dress up?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  You are more than welcome to dress up on the day, and if you do, we would love to see the photos afterwards! Dressing up is a great way to distinguish you as a group and a lot of fun for all involved. Just a note that if you decide to dress up your hen and party on afterwards,  many venues and restaurants don't welcome hen's that are covered in all the embarrasing hen's gear. Try and find something that they can take off quick if they have to!

Where can we go afterwards?
We often get asked this question, so here are some ideas! One tip, don't try and do too many things all in one day - not only can it be exhausting, it can also get quite expensive. A treasure hunt followed by dinner, drinks and dancing can be more than enough fun!
