A UNIQUE AND FUN HENS PARTY IDEA IN NSW, VIC,
QLD, SA & WA!

September 5th, 2017Hens Q&A #12 – Glenelg, SA

Ladies and gents, it’s that time again. Every so often, we sit down with a hen who recently attended a Hens Treasure Hunt! This time we sat down with a lovely new bride who partied with her besties in Glenelg, South Australia.

Q: What were the highlights of your Hens Treasure Hunt in Glenelg?

A: I admit I was worried a bit, because it was the middle of winter, but actually it worked out so well. The highlights were definitely the challenges, and that someone organised it all for me. I had so many other things to worry about with the wedding, so I needed something easy. The challenges were so funny. I’m a bit shy but… just felt like I could come out of my shell, for sure.

Q: Who did you invite?

A: Family, friends, and 2 ladies from work. We had heaps of people but it didn’t matter; we all had a great time. It was something that kept coming up at the wedding [laughs] … like, personal jokes from the hunt. I think my hubby is jealous he missed out!

Q: What would you do differently?

A: Maybe choose a time that was a bit earlier. It rained a bit later in the day. But that’s so hard to predict ahead of time, so we couldn’t do anything about that, and it was an excuse to stay and have an extra drink. It definitely didn’t ruin it or anything.

Q: Would you recommend a Hens Treasure Hunt to other brides-to-be?

A: Yeah, I’d suggest don’t make the hens night one of those decisions you torture yourself over. You want something that means the least amount of effort possible for you, but still appeals to everyone, whatever their age. This is it – do it!
